Greetings Fair Trade Educators!
TransFair USA, the third-party certifier of Fair Trade products for the US, is holding a Fair Trade art contest for this World Fair Trade Day, Saturday May 12. The theme of this year's Fair Trade Day is "Kids Need Fair Trade!" and it highlights the ways that children are involved in international trade. Combined with the Fair Trade curriculum that we've put together; this is a fun and interesting way to teach your students about Fair Trade!
